ABOUT US

Formed in 2018 MUDLAB is an architecture firm based in Marfa, TX. The firm was founded on an interest in exploring the application of local building systems in new construction, in particular the potential of adobe earthen bricks to be a logical and affordable building solution in Far West Texas.

Our interests lie in resourcefulness in material choices and clarity in our design decisions, resulting in work that is unique and responsive to it’s particular site.

We offer design services from pre-design through stamped construction documents, as well as custom furniture and lighting design. With skills ranging from a direct knowledge of construction to a strong artistic sense of composition and aesthetics, we are able to offer a unique and tailored response to each project.
